When the OEM engineering and design team works directly with the engineering team of isolation transformer manufacturers, a clearer understanding of the specifics for the development of the customized isolation transformer is accurately communicated.
In some cases, the in-house team may not recognize specific regulations and requirements based on standards for both international and domestic sales, while the specialized engineers at isolation transformer manufacturers immediately catch any issues.
Design Considerations
In addition to the circuit protection features provided by the isolation transformer, the manufacturer can also work to create a component that is compatible with the specific configuration of the device or system.
This is a cost-saving reason to work with the manufacturer as it prevents the need for redesigning the system to accommodate the isolation transformer or any other custom transformers required.
