Requirements
Before getting started with New Jersey EMT training, you need to meet a few requirements, such as being at least 18 years old. You also need to complete a program that’s approved by the state and hold a current CPR certification. Overall, you should be in good physical and mental health. Levels
As you begin your New Jersey EMT training, you need to keep in mind that there are different levels of certification that you can achieve. A basic certification means that you can perform basic skills to help save someone’s life or to provide care before they arrive at the hospital. You’ll usually work with a higher-up who has more training as there are things that you won’t be able to do on the scene. CPR
