The Differences Between Face Cream and Body Lotion

There are many different Greek skin products on the market; they all have different formulas depending on that part of the anatomy that they are designed to care for. In the case of face cream and body lotion, the area is self explanatory. Not only are face creams and body lotions available, the market also offers foot lotions, lip balms, cuticle creams and body scrubs amongst others. The brand names and the prices associated with them can vary significantly but the formulation is reasonably constant, however in the case of Greek skin products, olive oil is a common natural ingredient.

When meeting and greeting someone the first thing about the individual that you notice is the face, it is the first visual impression that you get of the individual. It is important for most women to keep the skin on the face soft and supple. Dermatologists and those involved in the cosmetics industry suggest to women that they use a face cream on a daily basis to achieve these objectives. As the face shows signs of stress and fatigue first, it is important to prevent these signs of aging. The face is also that part of the body which is in constant contact with sunlight and as such it is at risk for damage to the skin, drying it out and giving it a rough feeling.

This is not the case with the body; usually everything from the neck area down is covered with outer garments. As a result of the body being covered, except in situations such as being at the beach, it is subject to far less damage from the environment and as a result, premature signs of aging on the body are not near as common as on the face. The exception to this rule applies to those who spend a great deal of their time in the sun or tanning, the skin must be kept well hydrated.

Body lotion has the tendency of quickly being absorbed by the skin which helps it retain moisture; face cream contains ingredients which provide additional protection from the sun and combat dryness. Greek skin products contain plant extracts, olive oil and emollients which act as a cell stimulating action that results in improved skin quality and appearance.
