6-Month Wedding Fitness Plan

Are you looking for an effective and safe way to reach a fitness goal before the day of your wedding? We’re here to help you with that. We’ll start off slow and change the program each month to ensure you get the best possible results. By the end, you’re sure to hit your goals.

Month One

Your plan for fitness in New Providence, NJ, starts out by getting you active. Take your starting weight down and measurements of your waist, chest, thighs, hips, and forearms. Every week you can check the measurements, so you get a good idea of where you stand. For this month, focus on getting 20 to 30 minutes of aerobics in at least three times per week.

Month Two

During month two, we’re going to amp up the intensity a bit with 40 minutes of cardio three times a week. You’ll also want to add in two sets of ten stomach crunches, and a set of 10 pushups. This is a great time to determine what your resting and target heart rates are. Keep an eye on it when you do your exercising.

Month Three

During your third month of fitness in New Providence, NJ, we’re going to add even more intensity to your workout. Keep up the 40 minutes of cardio but bump up your stomach crunches to three sets of ten, the pushups to two sets of ten, and add in a set of ten squats.

Month Four

It’s month four so you’re halfway done. You should be see changes at this point. We’re going to continue the 40 minutes of aerobics, but move up the crunches, pushups, and squats to three sets of 15. You also want to start some weight lifting now. Add three sets of 15 tricep and bicep curls and two sets of 10 chest presses.

Month Five

You’re in the end stage now, and you’re looking great. This month you should pick an area you want to focus on. We’ll be adding that in. Keep up the cardio plan and do three sets of 15 with all the former exercises. All you need to do this month is add in three sets of 15 focusing on the body party you chose earlier.

Month Six

Month six is essentially the same as month five. You’ll be busy this month with wedding preparations but try to stay on track as much as possible. You’re almost there!
